Teiya wins GMB 2022

Northern region’s Representative of this year’s beauty pageant Tung Teiya Ayisha Dahamani, popularly known by stage name as Teiya has emerged as the winner of the TV3 Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2022 edition. Teiya wins by 32.5% votes.

The grand finale which was held at the National Theater on Sunday, 9th October, 2022 saw five top finalists who contested keenly for the beauty queen.

The event featured Amoani from Eastern Region, Teiya from Northern Region, Aiko from Oti Region, Xornam from Volta Region and Asiedua from Central Region.

At the end of the event, the judges announced the final results as follows:

• Fourth Runner-up (5th Position) – Xornam, Volta Region’s Representative of GMB 2022.

• Third Runner-up (4th Position) – Amoani, Eastern Region’s Representative of GMB 2022.

• Second Runner-up (3rd Position) – Asiedua, Central Region’s Representative of GMB 2022.

• First Runner-up – ( Second Position) – Aiko Adade, Oti Region’s Representative of GMB 2022.

• Winner – (1st Position) – Teiya, North Region’s Representative of GMB 2022.

Northern region’s Teiya takes the stage to discuss the kayaye menace and the measures she plans to put in place to reduce the rate of kayaye, particularly among women in her region.

Tung Teiya Ayisha Dahamani, popularly known by stage name Teiya is a contestant and finalist at the 2022 edition of the Ghana’s Most Beautiful Pageant organized and aired by the TV3 broadcasting Network in Ghana. Teiya is a fashion model, a strong woman and a gender activist/ advocate.

Teiya became a part of the beauty pageant as an ambassador and representative for the Northern region in Ghana. She has performed consistently beautiful with amazing energy, eloquence and confidence. Teiya has booked a spot in the finals of the 2022 GMB show as a result of her hard work and superb performances coupled with her votes from fans.
