UCC awards GH¢4,785,000 contract to MTN for supply of 5GB Data Bundle Package to 29,000 students
University of Cape Coast (UCC)
The University of Cape Coast (UCC) has officially awarded GH¢4,785,000 contract to MTN Ghana for supply of 5GB Data Bundle Package to 29,000 students. According to the contract, the cost of each student’s data bundle package is GH¢165.00 per annum.
The decision was made following the approval of the Board of the Public Procurement Authority at its meeting held on July 4, 2023.
This notification of award serves as the formal formation of the contract between the University of Cape Coast and MTN Ghana.
MTN is required to sign the contract within fourteen (14) days upon receiving this notification.
The university has urge MTN to sign of the contract within the stipulated time failure may result in the failure of the formation of the contract.
The university urges MTN to promptly proceed with the deployment of the data bundle package to the students for the month of July 2023.
The immediate implementation of this service is crucial to ensure uninterrupted access to digital resources and enhance the learning experience for the university’s student community.
