UCC holds matriculation for 9,828 fresh students for the 2023/2024 academic year

The University of Cape Coast has held a virtual matriculation ceremony for fresh students admitted to pursue various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for the 2023/2024 academic year.
A total of 9,828 students made up of 9,059 undergraduates and 769 postgraduates were matriculated at the ceremony.
The undergraduates comprised 4920 males, and 4,139 females whilst the postgraduates were made up of 439 males and 295 females.
The matriculation ceremony marks the formal admission of fresh students into the University and also provides students the opportunity to pledge their absolute allegiance to the University authorities.
