UCC Lecturer, Dr. Emmanuel Ellis Eghan passes on

A Lecturer of the University of Cape Coast in the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology Dr. Emmanuel Ellis Eghan has passed on to glory.

According to the Eghan family, their beloved son, Dr. Emmanuel Ellis Eghan died on Thursday, 3rd August, 2023 after a short illness.

In a separate statement, the Computer Science and Information Technology Students Association CISTA of the University of Cape Coast has expressed deep sadness following passing of Dr. Ellis Eghan, a beloved Lecturer of our Department of Computer Science and Information Technology in the University of Cape Coast.

Account to them, Dr. Emmanuel Ellis Eghan has been a pillar for many years, contributing greatly to the education and growth of countless students.

The Association explained that, Dr. Emmanuel Ellis Eghan commitment to research and innovation has inspired many of their students to pursue excellence in the field.

CISTA therefore extends its heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time. They noted that the absence of their Lecturer will be keenly felt by all who had the privilege of learning from him.

The family will be observing the one week passing of their beloved son, Dr. Emmanuel Ellis Eghan on Thursday, 10th August 2023 at exactly 9:00am at the PIWC – Nkanfoa, Cape Coast.

Eghan family said, this observance will be a moment for them to cherish the memories they shared with Emmanuel and find strength in one another.
