UCC-SRC congratulates 2023/2024 fresh students for gaining admission

The Students’ Representative Council (SRC) of the University Cape Coast (UCC) has congratulated the successfully admitted students for the 2023/2024 academic year.
In a notice signed by Vincent Kojo Siabi (President) and issued by Abdulai Issifu (PRO) dated 8th November 2023, the leadership of the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) of the University of Cape Coast congratulated all fresh students on their admission to West Africa’s Number 1 and Africa’s Number 7 University.
Addressing the accommodation challenge, the leadership said “We have noted the general concerns of the student body and newly-admitted students regarding the release of accommodation fees for the University’s Halls of Residence.
“We, however, entreat all students to remain calm and keep hopes alive as we engage university management on the hikes in the accommodation fees.
“In the meantime, all payments for accommodation to the halls of residence 5 should be put on hold.
The SRC promised to give the newly admitted students feedback after their engagement.
“Prospective students, please rest assured that we are working in your interest and shall revert within the shortest possible time, after our engagement with University management.
