UPDATE ON FRESH STUDENTS ACCOMMODATION
We bring you greetings from the SRC. The Students’ Representative Council with reference to our circular numbered UCC/SRC/PR/23-24/009, dated 8th November 2023, which stated, “all payments for accommodation to the halls of residence should be put on hold” refers.
All fresh students should kindly note that after our engagement with management, and relevant stakeholders on the increment in the accommodation fees, an agreement has been reached on a reduction of the residential fees from GH¢1,970 to GH¢ 966 for all traditional halls excluding Superannuation Hall which remains GH¢ 3,900.
This new development is evident in the various portals of prospective students of the University of Cape Coast. Therefore, prospective students who are not privy should log into their various portals for updated information regarding accommodation.
As a result of the above, the SRC entreats our cherished fresh students who have received admission letters to kindly proceed with payment for accommodation, in order to secure accommodation in any hall of residence.
We also cease this opportunity to thank all students for their tremendous support in urging management to reduce the accommodation fees.
Please be rest assured that the SRC is working in your interest.
