UHAS COVID-19 testing centre receives a Cabin Nissan Pickup from COVID-19 Trust Fund
The University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) COVID-19 testing center in Ho which forms part of the university’s group of laboratories is currently responsible for testing of coronavirus samples from the Volta and Oti regions.
According to Dr. Archibald Yaw Letsa, the Volta Regional Minister, the testing center has received a donation of a brand new single cabin Nissan Pickup from him on behalf of the COVID-19 Trust Fund to aid the activities of the center in delivering test results on time and conveying to test samples to the centre to be worked on.
This donation he said, was received by Prof. John Owusu Gyapong, the Vice Chancellor of the University on behalf of the center on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 on his official Facebook handle

Wednesday, May 13, 2020.
On behalf of the COVID-19 Trust Fund, I officially handed over a brand new single cabin Nissan Pickup to the University of Health and Allied Health Services (UHAS) COVID-19 Testing Centre. The Testing Centre, which is part of the University’s Medical Laboratories, is currently in charge of testing samples from the Volta and Oti Regions.
The donation was received by Prof. John Owusu Gyapong, the Vice Chancellor of the University.
