The Director-General of Ghana Education Service (GES), Dr. Eric Nkansah has promised all University graduates and diplomates financial clearance for recruitment.

Addressing the issue of the delay in the GES recruitment of University degree holders and diplomates, Dr. Eric Nkansah stated that the delay is due to financial clearance.

He made it clear that the Service is pushing for financial clearance for all University degree holders and diplomates before any official announcement on their recruitment exercise.

The Director-General also disclosed that after the success of the financial clearance, GES will announce it officially and fast-track the recruitment process.

“We are pressing for financial clearance for university degree holders and diplomates. When we get there, we will follow the same process.”

Further, he touched the shutdown of the GES Self-Posting portal concern with a tangible reason.

“The system is currently down to allow for an update which will allow applicant to be able to do a self reposting within the system. Hence, the technical shutdown. We will communicate appropriately when the system is up.”
