QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
Professor
A person seeking appointment as a Professor must:
- Be an acclaimed academic researcher and leader nationally and internationally with significant intellectual and professional contributions to his/her chosen field;
- Have been appointed as a Professor in the relevant discipline in an accredited tertiary institution in Ghana or elsewhere;
- Possess a PhD in the relevant field of specialization;
- Demonstrate the capacity for continuous research and dissemination of knowledge through technology transfer and publications;
- Show evidence of capacity for continuous research and dissemination of knowledge through technology transfer and publication;
- Must have served at least three (3) years on the rank of Associate Professor in his/her current institution.
Associate Professor
A person seeking appointment as an Associate Professor must:
- Show evidence of outstanding performance in teaching, research and industry-related innovations in the candidate’s subject area, as well as contributions to his/her field;
- Have been appointed as Associate Professor in the relevant discipline in an accredited tertiary institution in Ghana or elsewhere;
- Possess a PhD in the relevant field of specialization;
- Demonstrate the capacity for continuous research and dissemination of knowledge through technology transfer and publications;
- Have a minimum of eight (8) cumulative relevant publications in recognized reputable peer reviewed journals after promotion to Senior Lecturer;
- Must have served at least four (4) years on the rank of Senior Lecturer in his/her current institution.
Senior Lecturer
A person seeking appointment as Lecturer must:
- Have been appointed as a Senior Lecturer in the relevant discipline in an accredited tertiary institution in Ghana or elsewhere;
- Possess a PhD in the relevant field of specialization;
- Have taught for a minimum of four (4) years as a Lecturer in his/her current institution;
- Demonstrate the capacity for continuous research and publication;
- Have a minimum of six (6) publications in recognized reputable peer reviewed journals.
Lecturer
A person seeking appointment as Lecturer must:
- Possess a PhD in the relevant field of specialization and have at least one publication in a reputable journal. Membership of a relevant professional body will be an added advantage;
- Teaching experience in a comparable institution will be an advantage.
Assistant Lecturer
A person seeking appointment as Assistant Lecturer must:
- Possess an MPhil / MSc. in the relevant field of specialization and have at least one publication in a reputable journal. Membership of a relevant professional body will be an added advantage;
- Teaching experience in a comparable institution will be an advantage.
B. NON-TEACHING STAFF VACANCY
1. Assistant Development Officer (Service Engineer)
Job Requirement and Experience
Qualification: Must have a minimum of MSc Degree in the relevant field (Civil or Structural Engineering), be a member of a recognized professional body with three (3) years post qualification relevant experience.
2. Assistant Librarian
Job Requirement and Experience
Qualification: Possess an MPhil Degree in Library or Information Science related studies with three (3) years post qualification experience. Must be a member of a relevant professional body in Ghana. Must be conversant with relevant library software applications.
3. Junior/Assistant Registrar (Legal)
Job Requirement and Experience
Qualification: Applicant must hold the LLM Degree and must be a qualified Lawyer, duly registered by the Ghana Bar Association.
4. Pharmacist
Qualification: Applicant must hold a Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy certificate from a recognized institution.
Must possess a permanent license from the Pharmacy Council of Ghana and at least three (3) years experience in a headship position at a recognized health facility.
Applicants must be between the ages of 25 to 45 years old.
