“I feel very honored and privileged to stand before you as the valedictorian to give this speech on behalf of the graduate school 2022 graduating students.”
“Mr. Chairman, what a great and joyful day it is today? What we see here is a group of resilient people who have defied all odds to achieve professional degrees from a great institution. We have made it this far not by accident, but by the grace of God, by determination and focus on the targets we set for ourselves. We must be thankful to God, and we must feel proud for what we have achieved today. When we started this journey, we perceived a journey that will be long and difficult to complete. Indeed, it was a long and difficult journey, with many obstacles to overcome. Today, we have come to the end of this journey, with many more journeys to embark on. To my colleagues, I say 𝒂𝒚𝒆𝒌𝒐𝒐!!! 𝒎𝒊𝒂𝒘𝒐𝒆 𝒘ɔ 𝒅ɔ!!! 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬!!!”
“Mr. Chairman, GIMPA gave us sweet memories and experiences we will never forget. We are thankful for each other and for the great bonds we have established here which will last a lifetime. GIMPA has also prepared us for solving difficult problems in our various places of work. We are now better team players because of the many group works we did as students. Some of us have experienced free expression of thoughts in GIMPA than we can ever experience anywhere else, and this has boosted our confidence. The GIMPA environment is conducive for academic and skills development, offering opportunities to pursue excellence. Surely, GIMPA is the Center of Excellence. We have received quality education from the finest brains, and we are thankful for our lecturers. We are now well trained and ready to take on whatever challenges come next in our lives.”
“Mr. Chairman, this is not just a moment for celebrating our achievements. It is also a moment to acknowledge the people who have been with us on this journey, without whose support we will not be here today. These wonderful men and women have sacrificed a lot to support us, and they should feel proud today just as we feel.”
“To our families; husbands, wives, parents, children, uncles and aunties, we are grateful for your support and encouragement. Some of you were bankrollers of this success we are witnessing today. Some of you endured not receiving the much-needed attention from us because we were in school. Your toils did not go waste, you should be proud of what you are seeing today. Thank you, Mum (Madam Sella Ama Amedor) for your prayers and support.”
“We are also grateful to the lecturers of this great institution for giving us the best learning experience, especially those that went the extra mile to ensure that we become better versions of ourselves. We are thankful to our supervisors for guiding us to produce quality final year project works. We thank the faculty and staff of GIMPA for giving us the necessary support for a successful completion of our study.”
“Finally, let me again congratulate the Graduating Class of 2022. Let us go into the world combining the skills we have learned, the knowledge we have acquired and the conscience to do the right things at everywhere whenever, so that we can achieve the results that have never been achieved. This must not be our last victory to celebrate. Let us sour higher, let us shine brighter, for ourselves, for GIMPA and for the generations to come after us. Above all, let us never stop learning.”
