Mr. Asiedu Nketia Shedding Tears
The National Democratic Congress yesterday held a vigil in honour of the late former President Jerry John Rawlings who is also the founder of the NDC.
It could be recalled that Former President Jerry John Rawlings’ passed away few days ago at the Korlebu Teaching Hospital after a short illness on 12th November, 2020.

Following the death of Jerry John Rawlings, the National Democratic Congress which he founded held a vigil yesterday at the Obra spot in honour of their Party’s founder.
Speaking during the vigil, Asiedu Nketia who is the General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress Mr. Asiedu Nketia brokedown and started shedding tears.
Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia further urged the rank and file of the party to embark on route matches to in honour the of the former President Jerry John Rawlings. Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia said;

“One of the best ways for the party to honour the memory of Jerry John Rawlings is for the party’s rank and file in their various branches, Constituencies and Regions to undertake route matches on days and times to be determined by them and according to their traditional calendars and when this is done, I believe President Rawlings will be smiling anywhere he is.“
