Video: Lawyer Agyapa and his friends conspired to ‘Steal’ ECG – lawyer Edudzi Tameklo alleges
A member of the legal and Communications team member oft the opposition National Democratic Congress lawyer Edudzi Tameklo has alleged that the Member of Parliament for the Sekondi Constituency lawyer Andrew Kofi Egyapa Mercer is part of those who conspired to steal Ghana’s power company, the Electricity Company of Ghana.
Speaking in an interview on Tv3, with his co-panelists as lawyer Andrew Kofi Egyapa Mercer, lawyer Edudzi Tameklo alleged that lawyer Andrew Kofi Egyapa Mercer is involved in a conspiracy to steal the Electricity Company of Ghana because, he is the company secretary and Incorporated TG energy, the company which brought the Power Distribution Services, PDS to take over ECG.
However, debunking the allegations made by lawyer Edudzi Tameklo, the Sekondi lawmaker lawyer Egyapa Mercer indicated that, the company, TG Energy was Incorporated in the 2014 when they were in opposition and not when President Nana Akufo Addo became President, so the company was not Incorporated to undertake any dubious activity.
Lawyer Mercer also added that, he will welcome any Investigations into the PDS saga because his hands are clean.
