[VIDEO] Nigerian Chef, Tope Maggie reclaims Cook-A-Thon record for his country

The Nigerian Chef born as Temitope Adebayo but known popularly in his career field as Chef Tope Maggie has reclaimed the Cook-A-Thon record for his country.

Months ago, Hilda Bassey, a female Nigerian chef entered the Guinness Book of Record through the Cook-A-Thon competition with 93 hours cook record.

Fast forward, an Irish chef, Alan Fisher broke the record with 119 hours of cooking to dethrone Hilds Bassey.

Today, it has been allegedly announced that chef Tope Maggie has surpassed the Irish chef to reclaim the record for Nigeria. He cooked for 200 hours.

The new record holder for the Cook-A-Thon, chef Tope Maggie is a product of Hotel Management at the Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun State.

Tope manages a chain of restaurants in Ogbomoso currently.

The joy video was shared online via a tweet

“Congratulations to Chef Tope Maggie and his team for completing a 200-hour Cook-A-Thon, which came to an end at exactly 3am this morning.”
