A video sighted by coverghana.com.gh indicates that, over hundred Ghanaian citizens of Ghana are stranded in Western asian country, the Republic of Lebanon.
According to the video, a man who calls himself Mr. Martinson appealed to the Member of Parliament for the Asian Central Constituency, Kennedy Agyapong, the President of Ghana Nana Akufo Addo and his wife Rebecca, the vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and his wife Samira to come to the rescue of the ladies.

Mr. Martinson explained that, the Ghanaian Ladies number ing over one hundred have been stranded in Lebanon for many months and that a benevolent Ghanaian called Mr. Milet opened a building for the stranded ladies to live in.
Mr. Milet in the video also added that, he met Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in a hotel when he visited Lebanon and explained the situation to him and pleaded with the stakeholders in Ghana need to come to the rescue of the ladies because, they don’t want to bring dead bodies home.
