Video: “Reopened Schools have become Centres for Political Campaigns for the NPP” – Sammy Gyamfi

The National Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress lawyer Sammy Gyamfi has in a press conference held today 13th July,2020 indicated that, the Government of Ghana under the leadership of President Nana Akufo Addo had a different agenda for reopening  Senior High Schools across the country.

According to Sammy Gyamfi, the Government’s decision to reopen senior high schools in the country for the final year students to write their final year exams was only a hoax and that the government reopened  schools purposely to allow the New Patriotic Party campaign in the school’s.

He said;

“It is sad and annoying to note that, apart from the disregard for Covid-19 protocols in our schools, reopened schools have become Centres and hot beds for Political Campaigns by the ruling New Patriotic Party as seen over the weekend when their National Youth Organizer Henry Nana Boakye led a team to campaign I’m some senior high schools in the Ashanti region.”
