Additionally, they contributed 300 bags of sachet water to Central Tongu on October 14, 2023, and another 300 bags of sachet water to South Tongu on October 15, 2023.

This response has become necessary due to the destructive effects of the Akosombo and Kpong Dam spillage, which have been damaging lives and properties.

The current situation is even more critical due to the contamination of the Volta River, the primary source of safe drinking water for communities along the river.

The timely donation of water bags will significantly help alleviate the impact of the devastation.
