The first gentleman of Ghana, President Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo has stated that that the plan is to transform Ghana’s economy.
According to him, the ultimate plan is to transform the country’s economy into a world class economic hub which will be to the benefit of all Ghanaians.

In a tweet on the 65th independence day celebration of Ghana, President Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo wrote “We want to transform Ghana into a world class economic hub which will benefit every single Ghanaian.”

The President further stated that he does not underestimate the challenges with which the country is confronted but he has the hope that the country will overcome them.
“I do not underestimate the challenges with which we are confronted. But I am strong in my conviction that we can overcome them. I know we are capable. I believe in the can-do spirit of Ghanaians. Ours is a bright future, and I am confident that the years ahead will be great.”
