BACKGROUND
The National Democratic Congress rejected the 2020 Presidential result declared by the Chairperson of Electoral Commission, Mrs. Jean Mensa.
According to the NDC, the figures that they have computed from their Pink Sheets indicates that their Presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama should have been declared the winner of this year’s Presidential election which was rather declared in favor of the New Patriotic Party’s Nana Akufo Addo.
Following the rejection of the Election results by the Electoral Commission, many Citizens have called on the National Democratic Congress to go to court to make their case instead of holding demonstrations.
