We’ve made available Soft Copies of 2020 Voter’s Register to Political Parties – Mrs. Jean Mensah

The Electoral Commission of Ghana says it has made available soft copies of the 2020 voter’s register to the Political Parties.

Speaking to the leadership of the Parliament of Ghana on the commissions preparedness towards the upcoming December Presidential and Parliamentary elections, the chairperson of the Electoral Commission of Ghana, Mrs Jean Mensah indicated that the Commission is 95% prepared to handle this years Election.

Mrs. Jean Mensah also added that the printing of the election register is also
currently underway and they are confident that they will complete this process and distribute the registers well in time for the December 2020 election.

The Electoral Commissioner also revealed that “lt is important to note, that the political parties have submitted their hard drives to the Commission. A soft copy of the register was made available to them on the 6th of November 2020.”

Mrs. Jean Mensah in his meeting with the leadership of the law makers in the country also revealed that the commission has scheduled to begin the printing of the Results Collation Sheet for Presidential and Parliamentary Elections popularly known as the Pink Sheets will commence on Sunday the 8th of November 2020 and that all Political Parties have been duly informed accordingly and will monitor the process throughout.
