We’ve repaired NDC’s broken economy; renew our mandate to do more – Freddy Blay

Mr. Freddy Blay, the National Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has called on Ghanaians to maintain President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in office in the upcoming Parliamentary and Presidential elections.
Speaking at the 2020 Manifesto Launch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at the University of Cape Coast in the Central Region of Ghana on 22nd August, 2020, the National Chairman of the Party said, President Akufo-Addo’s government has performed better in the past three and a half years in administration.

Adding to that, Mr. Freddy Blay noted that, the NPP has fulfilled almost it 2016 Campaign manifesto promises for the good people of Ghana. He further explained that, the broken economy inherited by NPP from NDC has been fixed and that can be seen largely on the flexibility of government’s development.

“Within the three and a half years, we have kept our faith with the people of Ghana to a very great extent. We have fulfilled our promises largely and this is evident all over the country, and it could be seen in the extent that the economy has been repaired in spite of its mercy state we found it.” He explained.

Highlighting on the party’s 2020 manifesto dubbed “Leadership of Service” he said the document has been put together with the interest of Ghana in mind.
Speaking further, Mr. Freddy Blay said ,”The 2020 manifesto is an indication of what NPP was in 2016 and is now and will be in the future, tackling the economy and advancing good governance for all of us. We are therefore asking people in this country that come December 7, based on what we say we will offer, take us seriously, vote for us again and we will deliver,”
