Woyome supports South Tongu GNAT; Says teachers are doing extremely well
Mr. Wisdom Kobena Mensah Woyome has extended his kind gesture to the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) in his Constituency.
The Member of Parliament made a cash donation of GH¢1,000.00 to support the 6th Quadrennial Delegates Conference held by the South Tongu District GNAT in the Global Evangelical Church, Sogakope on 26th May, 2021.

The 6th Quadrennial Delegates Conference was organized for teachers within the District who were represented by their delegates to discuss matters relating to the teaching profession and the Ghana Education System.
The donation was presented by the South Tongu Constituency executive officers on behalf of the Member of Parliament to support Union’s Programme.
The Constituency Deputy Communications Officer Mr. Nicholas Aklorbortu, speaking on behalf of the Member of Parliament said, the MP wished to be in attendance but left to Accra for an urgent Parliamentary proceedings.
According to him, the MP as the Ranking Member on Youth, Sport and Culture is doing everything possible to support the the youth of South Tongu to get their share if the national cake through sporting activities among others.
GNAT is supportive to teachers in South Tongu in diverse ways
He said, reports received by Mr. Woyome from the South Tongu District Education Directorate show that, teacher are doing extremely well in South Tongu District.
The MP calls on teachers and their leaderships to be united, and work together in achieving a common goal.
He appealed to the teachers to love one another including their students and must always exhibit the spirit of forgiveness in their society.

Mr. Wisdom Kobena Mensah Woyome is grateful to all teachers for their hard work and dedication to duty most importantly, he is most grateful not to have heard any bad practice among teacher and serious undisciplinary actions taken against the teachers in South Tongu District.
