12 Countries qualified for 2023 Africa Cup of Nations

12 countries have secured their places in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, following the completion of the qualifying fixtures last weekend.
Nigeria and Guinea-Bissau have qualified from Group A, with the Super Eagles beating Sierra Leone 3-2 and Guinea-Bissau winning 1-0 at Sao Tome and Principe. Zambia and South Africa will also be representing COSAFA at the finals. Equatorial Guinea and Egypt also secured their spots on Matchday 5.
In addition, Ivory Coast qualified for the tournament as hosts, while defending champions Senegal, Morocco, Algeria, Burkina Faso, and Tunisia complete the list of qualified teams. A total of 24 teams will participate in the final tournament, which promises to be an exciting event.
Unfortunately, Sao Tome and Principe, Botswana, Lesotho, Madagascar, Libya, Liberia, Comoros, South Sudan, and Ethiopia have already been eliminated from the tournament.
