Professor Ransford Gyampo poured his heart out heavily on the issue of Base Pay negotiation. Speaking on Tv3 ‘s “The KeyPoints” programme, he disclosed that some leaders who are to champion a good course for Ghanaian workers are rather championing for their individual gains leaving what they are mandated to go for.
On the programme, he said the same bad nuts (leaders) have also divided the front of labour for their personal gains leaving the masses who are sacrificing everything for the betterment of the country.
Calling for the next, 2025 Base Pay negotiation, Prof. Gyampo advised that Ghanaian workers should consider rethinking about the caliber of leaders who will man the Base Pay negotiation.
“Dear Ghanaian workers, I’m telling you, in the negotiation of Base Pay, rethink the caliber of people you send to go negotiate for your interest because some of the people if you allow them to continue to lead you they will remain rich and you will remain poor,” he stressed.
