A/R: Heavy Security Services deployed to build up confidence towards December Polls
The government of Ghana has deployed a heavy security services to the Ashanti Region of Ghana over the weekend ahead of the December 2020 Polls.
According to the office of the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mr. James Oppong – Boanuh, the deployment of the security services to the region is one of the preparations towards the upcoming Presidential and Parliamentary Elections scheduled to take place on 7th December, 2020.

In a statement, the Ghana Police service has called on the general public both in Ghana and abroad, to join them as they share with the public Security Services in the Ashanti Region embarking on confidence-building match towards the elections on 7th December, 2020.

The security services deployed include l, Ghana Police personnel, Ghana Armed Forces, Military Services and others.
