Accra Academy student explains why he set Dormitory blocks on fire
A student of the Accra Academy Senior High School has explained why he set one of the dormitory blocks in the school on fire.
According to reports from 3News, the students after his arrest confessed to the crime of setting the dormitory block on fire.

Explaining why he set the dormitory on fire during an interrogation, the 15 years old form two students said that he burnt the school’s Dormitory block on fire so that he can be allowed to become a day Student.
The student further claimed that he had been enrolled in the school against his wish and for that matter decided to burn down the school with the hope that the school would be closed down completely.
BACKGROUND
On January 16, 2021, some parts of a Dormitory was destroyed by fire around 7 p.m.
Two weeks later, there was another fire at another hall in the school on January 28, 2021.
The fire outbreaks in the school destroyed property of the school, educational materials of students and some personal belongings of the students.
