Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya Sarah Adwoa Safo accepts President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s revocation of her appointment, expresses gratitude for his continual support.
The President of the Republic, H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in accordance with the constitution terminated the appointment of Hon Sarah Adwoa Safo as Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection on 28th July, 2022 and many Ghanaians have earnestly waited for her reaction to the news.
Finally, after several weeks since the termination of her appointment, Sarah Adwoa Safo, has communicated her acceptance to the President and expressed gratitude to him for the support thus far.
In her response to the President letter dated 5th August, 2022, Adwoa Safo said “ I am extremely grateful for your understanding, compassion, and unending devotion throughout this past year, especially during a very difficult period for me where I have had to be away from office. Your kind support has been very much welcome and for that I remain eternally grateful.”
The Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya again stated that believes this move will grant her ample time and the opportunity to focus more on the developmental needs of the over 75,000 people in her constituency.
