AirtelTigo, telecommunication network, undergoes rebranding as AT

AirtelTigo telecommunications network, announced today that it has officially rebranded itself as AT, effective from Thursday, June 22, 2023.

Following the merger of Airtel and Tigo in November 2017, the company has operated under the name AirtelTigo, providing a range of telecommunication services including data, mobile money services, and mobile voice services.

The rebranding will encompass all sub-brands under AirtelTigo, namely AT Money, AT Business, AT Premier, and AT Insurance.

The new name, AT, will be incorporated into all future communications, marketing materials, and branding initiatives. While the brand colors will remain unchanged, all trade materials previously reflecting AirtelTigo will be updated to reflect the new brand, AT.

During a round table discussion, Leo Skarlatos, Chief Executive Officer of AirtelTigo, explained the rationale behind the name change: “AT is a bold and strategic move aimed at reflecting our brand promise of simplicity, making it easier for our customers to identify and engage with us. It is important to note that this change solely pertains to the brand name and logo, and will not impact our management structure, products, or services.”

Skarlatos emphasized that AT remains committed to providing innovative services with an enhanced focus on user experience and customer satisfaction. He assured customers that the rebranding would not affect the quality and reliability of the services they have come to trust.

“We firmly believe that this name change will strengthen our brand identity and exemplify our dedication to growth and simplicity,” reiterated Mr. Skarlatos, expressing his confidence in the positive impact of the rebranding.

With the adoption of the new brand name, AT, AirtelTigo aims to streamline its identity and reinforce its commitment to providing simple and efficient solutions for its valued customers.
