The Member of Parliament for Asawase Constituency and the Minority Chief Whip Hon. Mubarack Muntaka Mohammed-Alhaji has jabbed President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government for failing to account to Ghanaians on the expenditure made on the two hundred and seventy-five (275) ambulances procured for constituencies.
The Minority Chief Whip, who was addressing a press conference organized by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Monday, 1st June, 2020 has made the shocking revelation accusing the president and the New Patriotic Party (NPP). According to him, all attempts for Akufo-Addo’s govenment to render an account to the good people of Ghana have fallen on death ears.
Hon. Mubarack Muntaka Mohammed-Alhaji though accused the president for failing to account for the 275 procured ambulances, has lauded Nana Addo and his government by saying, their effort to procure or provide 275 ambulances is commendable.
The Member of Parliament for Asawase Constituency added that, President Akufo-Addo and his government appointees are corrupt and have lied their way to power. According him, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) can lie their ways to power but truth will send them back to opposition in the December 7, 2020 elections.

Surprisingly, the Minority Chief Whip has alleged that, the Ministry of Special Development Initiative established by president Akufo-Addo is another corrupt center to create, loot and share. A statement he made in connection with NPP’s failed one million dollar per one constituency promise made to Ghanaians.
President Akufo-Addo on Tuesday, 28th January, 2020 commissioned and distributed 275 ambulances to all the 275 constituencies across the country. According to data available, the newly commissioned ambulances cost 133,000 dollars each.
