Akufo-Addo’s lawyer in 2020 election petition, Akoto Ampaw reportedly dead
Lawyer Akoto Ampaw, who represented President Akufo-Addo in the 2020 election petition is reportedly dead.
According to sources, he passed away at the University of Ghana Medical Center (UGMC) early on Friday, October 20.
The information that is currently accessible indicates that the attorney has not been well since early 2023.
The family of the late Lawyer Akoto Ampaw is expected to formally announce his demise through a press statement later.

Popularly known as ‘Che Che’ right from his student days at the University of Ghana, Ampaw was part of the New Patriotic Party’s legal team in the Electoral Petition of 2013.
