Progressive Cooperative Credit Union previously known as Progressive Teachers’ Cooperative Credit Union is a non-banking financial institution with membership from Keta Municipality and its catchments areas. The institution was founded in 1995 for all active teachers in the Ghana Education Service.

However, in 2012, its services were opened to the Non-formal sector hence the change of name to Progressive Cooperative Credit Union Ltd.

The purpose of the Union is to mobilize deposits from its members, provide its members with prompt loans at competitive prices alongside other competitive financial services for development, inculcate the habit of saving and spending wisely, and financial inclusion.

The VISION of the Union is to become a leader in the Provision of financial solutions to its members in Keta Municipality and beyond with the MISSION to provide excellent, innovative, and competitive products and services while ensuring superior customer care.

The Union is licensed and accredited by the Credit Union Association of Ghana and The Bank of Ghana.
