Anas discloses the source of money to pay bribe in his exposé
The well-known Ghanaian undercover journalist, attorney, and private detective Anas Aremeyaw Anas has disclosed the source of the money he used to pay bribes in his exposé.
Anas is known for his undercover journalism. He exposes big sharks in many government institutions he senses something fishy coupled with complaints.
The recent exposé carried out by Tiger Eye PI investigations was the exposé about Mr. Charles Adu Boahen (the removed Minister of State at the Finance Ministry).
According to their investigation, they said Mr. Boahen and Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia could be paid $200,000 as an appearance fee for investors.
Detailing how he (Anas) gets money to pay bribes in his exposés in an interview, he said
“We are a media house and we have views, we have clicks, we have radio stations that we go into some form of alliance with. So before we start any investigation there is a budget and that budget is what goes into the firm. So yes, that is how we get the money.
“We don’t get it every day but I wish we could get more to do what we do but we try. We wish we will not be paying more.
He also said, they sometimes have to pay more to get them.
