Anti-LGBTQI Bill gazetted : First reading scheduled for Monday, 2nd August

Information available indicates that the anti-LGBTQI been championed by some members of Parliament has been duely gazetted and has been sent to the Business Committee of the Parliament of Ghana. 

It can be recalled that Hon. Samuel Nartey George and other seven Members  of Parliament are championing for a bill titled  “The Promotion of Proper Human Sexμal Rights and Ghanaian Family Values, Bill 2021” to be passed into law which is seeking to pr0hibit LGBTQI activities in the country.

The latest information on the Bill indicates that the bill has been gazetted and sent to the Business Committee of Parliament and has been programmed to be laid for first reading on Monday, 2nd August.
