Do you know that former Black Stars player Asamoah Gyan is in the Guinness World Records for missing penalties at the World Cup?

Asamoah Gyan is recorded in the Guinness World Records for the Most penalties missed by an individual at the FIFA World Cup (excluding shoot-outs)

At the FIFA World Cup, Asamoah Gyan of Ghana has missed two penalties in both normal and extra time. In the waning seconds of extra time in Ghana’s quarterfinal matchup with Uruguay on July 2, 2010, Gyan missed a penalty kick.

He attempted another attempt in the penalty shootout, but Ghana lost 4–2. On June 17, 2006, during a match against the Czech Republic, Gyan missed the post with a penalty kick.
