Assault: NDC Regional Chairman “rearranges” Treasurer’s face at the Secretariat
The Northern NDC Regional Chairman has rearranged the face of their Treasurer at the Secretariat in Tamale.
It has reached our news desk that a pathetic incident occurred at the Northern National Democratic Congress (NDC) Secretariat between two (2) executives, the Northern NDC Regional Chairman and the Treasurer at the Secretariat, Tamale.
The incident occurred between the Northern Regional NDC Vice Chairman, Alhaji Gbewaa, and the Northern Regional Treasurer, Haija Shamina due to some allocated monies for the party.
The punches geared towards rearranging her face were not heavily landed due to separation from other members around.
However, the Northern Regional Police Headquarters confirmed that Haija Shamina suffered some injuries and has been treated at the hospital and discharged but the matter is under investigation to know the genesis of the misunderstanding and how it caused the assault.
Other reports also indicated that the victim, Haija Shamina, once received the same “treat” from the First National Vice Chairman of the NDC, Sofo Awudu Azorka. This is the second time she has been allegedly assaulted by executives.
