Assin North residents are wicked, ungrateful and ingratitude – Akua Donkor
Founder and Flagbearer of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) Madam Akua Donkor
Akua Donkor, the leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFA), has criticized the residents of Assin North Constituency for their decision to vote against the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in a recent by-election.
According to Donkor, the residents displayed ingratitude by voting for the opposition National Democratic Congress candidate, James Gyakye Quayson.
During an interview with Kofi TV on Thursday, Donkor argued that despite the development President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo brought to Assin North, the residents chose to act in a wicked manner.
She further argued that it is unwise to challenge a government in power, as the government has the resources to bring development.
Donkor expressed concern that the residents’ decision to vote against the NPP would harm themselves and future generations.
Donkor went on to criticize the residents for rejecting the NPP candidate on the grounds that he was not a voter in the constituency.
She argued that the residents were ungrateful for the roads and other infrastructure projects that the government had constructed for them.
Donkor also expressed disappointment that the residents voted for someone who was being prosecuted by the government.
Finally, she stated that her political party is still active and that she would be running for the 2024 elections.
