ATL HOUSE OF PARLIAMENT LEADERSHIP SUMMIT 

Atlantic Hall House of Parliament will hold its leadership summit today, Saturday, 29th July, 2023 on the Theme: “Empowering Tomorrow’s Leaders: Shaping the Vision for Change”

According to the speaker of the Atlantic Hall House of Parliament Rt. Hon. Gideon A. Amoah, the leadership summit of the ATL parliament aims to bring together young leaders from the hall  to discuss and explore ways to empower and shape the future.

The theme, “Empowering Tomorrow’s Leaders: Shaping a Vision for Change,” focuses on inspiring students to develop their leadership skills, understand the power of their voice, and make a positive impact in their future endeavours.

KEYNOTE ADDRESS

The summit would start with a powerful keynote address from an influential leaders, such as a traditional council member (chief), renowned academic, or a visionary public figure(politician).

The speaker can share their personal journey, emphasizing the importance of leadership, and highlight the potential impact students can have on society through their actions.

PANEL DISCUSSIONS

The summit would feature a series of panel discussions and workshops covering various aspects of leadership and social change.

Students will be paired with experienced mentors for short, focused conversations.

Mentors would then provide guidance and share their expertise on specific topics of interest such as;

1. Leadership Challenges:

2. Ethical leadership and social responsibility

3. Making use of opportunities

4. Accepting and taken leadership roles.

At the end, the summits outcomes and resolutions would be compiled and serves as the basis for the formation of “ATL leadership Academy” which aim at training students from the hall to take up leadership positions both in the hall and at the SRC level.
