Baxter Black was a famous American cowboy poet and a veterinary doctor. Baxter has written more than 30 books of poetry, fiction both novels and children’s literature and commentary.

Baxter Black is a good writer and because of this, over two million copies of his books, CDs, and DVDs have been bought across the globe. Baxter Black is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine by profession.

Apart from being a professional veterinary doctor, Baxter also engaged in the following occupations; Cattle Feeder, Cowboy poet, Columnist, Novelist, Philosopher, Publisher – Coyote Cowboy Company, Raconteur and National Public Radio Commentator.

The fans and followers of Baxter Black are sad as the news of his demise came earlier than they expect. Baxter passed on at the age of 77 at Benson, Arizona.
