National Service Personnel in the Central and the North Tongu districts of the Volta Region were charged to be diligent and punctual at work during the time of Service to the nation. .
They were entreated to be obedient and humble to their superiors at work as the National Service is the time for them to gained the experiences needed and prepare them for the job market.
This was said during an orientation organized for Personnel by the National Service Secretariat.
The District Director Mr. Filsen Dey who conducted the orientation took personnel through their mandate and code of conduct as Service Personnel. “You are a group of intellectuals being sent out there to serve and make Ghana proud and that’s exactly what the Secretariat expect from you” Mr. Filsen Gameli Kwasi Dey said .
Over fifty (50) Service Personnel drawn from various Accredited Universities in the country gathered at the Central Tongu district assembly hall for the Orientation.
Mr. Filsen Gameli Kwasi Dey advised them to make good use of the little allowances given to them as it is supposed to sustain them during this one year journey.
He also told them to consider him as a father and approach him and that his doors are always Opened to address their concerns.
Offices has been opened at Bator and Juapong to prevent personnel traveling many hours to submit their monthly evaluation forms . Personnel present promised to he of good behavior and also to work hard.
