Concern citizens are calling for the tightening of security checks at the forthcoming Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) specifically, Odumase Krobo in the Lower Manya Municipality.

The WAEC call by the concern citizens was fueled by the attitude of the candidates towards the upcoming BECE which will be written next month, August.

According to the report at our news desk, the reason for calling WAEC to tighten their security in Odumase Krobo is that the students in the said Municipality are not taking their studies seriously despite having numbered days to write the exam also.

Students in Form Three (3) in Odumase Krobo, Lower Manya Municipality, Eastern Region have cultivated a lackadaisical attitude towards studies.

Form Three (3) students in the Municipality are not attending school regularly. They have refused to avail themselves for thorough studies and preparations toward their first external examination.

The attitude of students in Odumase Krobo toward the BECE is an evidence that some invisible people are behind the scene promising the future leaders leaked papers (appor).

With the above report, the concern citizens are calling on the West African Examination Council (WAEC) to strengthen its security inspections during the exam for fairness and proper reflection of results.
