The Minister for Youth, Sports and Culture, Hon. Mustapha Ussif has revealed that, Brazil paid $90,000 for Black Stars clash in Pre-World Cup Friendly.
As part of the preparations for the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament, the Ghana National team, Black Stars played their first international friendly against Brazil. The Black Stars of Ghana ended their match on a dissatisfying note as the team secured a 3-0 loss to the Brazilians that Tuesday night.

The Minister for Youth, Sports and Culture, Hon. Mustapha Ussif in his press briefing indicated that Ghana Football Association was paid a colossal sum of $90,000 by Brazil for the International friendly match.
The budget presented by the Minister for Youth and Sports and the Ghana Football Association for the FIFA World Cup tournament has attracted a lot of criticism especially because it comes at the time when the country is in an economic turmoil.

In view of this, the assertions that Ghana spent so much on the two international friendlies in September is rendered false as Ghana seems to have gained more from the Football matches.
