CAGD releases 2025 payment of salaries and wages dates

The Controller and Accountants-Generals’ Department (CAGD) has released the dates banks will begin crediting employees’ accounts in 2025.

It was stated in an official release that in the year 2025, Salaries and Wages of Civil Servants, employees of the Ghana Education Service (GES) and all other Public Servants paid by the Controller and Accountants-Generals’ Department will be paid on the dates indicated below:

Months and Paydays

January – 22nd
February – 20th
March – 20th
April – 23rd
May – 22nd
June – 25th
July – 24th
August – 25th
September – 25th
October – 23rd
November – 24th
December – 18th

According to CAGD, “The banks will begin crediting employees’ accounts on the dates specified above.

“Any changes to these dates will be promptly communicated to the Ministries, Departments, Agencies, Assemblies and respective banks,” CAGD added.
