Central Region faces unfulfilled promises of Akufo-Addo’s government – Prof. Naana Opoku-Agyemang

The running mate of the opposition National Democratic Congress Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has sadly indicated that, the Central Region, her blood home, where she was born and bread is facing numerous unfulfilled promises of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s New Patriotic Party government.

Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang who was addressing her own indigence in the Central Region  has called on them to give the National Democratic Congress a massive win in the upcoming December 2020 polls so as to address challenges confronting the region. “The Central Region among others deserves better.” She sadly noted.

On Monday, 21st September, 2020, the Vice Presidential Candidate of NDC commences her campaign tour of Central Region. In Elmina, where she and the party’s campaign team first arrived, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has had a rousing mobs by the residents, a scene that gives her hope and confidence that, the region would swing in favour of the opposition National Democratic Congress in the December polls.

Speaking to the people, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang told the mobbing crowd at the Elimina market to vote NDC into power for proper governance. “We trust you to help us win power so that we can serve you better,” She appealed.

Addressing the people further, she humbly called on the people to swing votes for the party by comparing the massive infrastructure development coupled with jobs in the Central Region during the John Dramani Mahama’s NDC regime. According to her, the party, when voted into office come December 7, 2020 will not fail them. “the NDC has never, and will never neglect the region.” He reassured.

“You all have seen the difference, and our track record in this region stands out. I trust that you will deliver victory for the NDC,” She calmly and humbly said.

“We promised roads, schools, hospitals, jobs, quality technical education, development without discrimination, and we delivered all,” He further added.

She again pleaded with the people not to allow themselves to be misled by the ruling government’s sweet promises that never get fulfilled in the Central Region.

“We shall restore hope and socio-economic progress in this region through the various policy interventions that we have planned for you,” Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang admonished.
