Information reaching coverghana indicates that an earth tremor had occurred in some parts of the country with theĀ national capital being the hardest hit area.
This occurred about 10:50pm on Wednesday night, June 24, 2020.
This is reported to have occurred in areas such as Dansoman, Achimota Mile 7, Spintex, and North Kaneshie in Accra. Other affected areas which reportedly experienced the tremor were Ashaley Botwe, Adentan, Kwashieman, Amasaman, Tema, Gbawe, Kokrobite and McCarthy Hill, East Legon, Ablekuma, Ashongman Estate, Tetegu, Sowutuom, and Mambrobi Sempe among others.
Additional reports indicates that the tremor also affected the central and eastern regions.
