The Civil And Local Government Staff Association, Ghana (CLOGSAG) has directed it’s membership to stay home from Thursday, January 20, 2022 until further notice.

In a letter dated January 17, 2022, signed by the Executive Secretary of CLOGSAG, Isaac Bampoe Addo, the strike action is to press home their demand for better conditions of service.

CETAG announces strike action over government’s unfulfilled promise

“This is to confirm National Executive Council (NEC) decision that from January 20, 2022, the Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana (CLOGSAG), would embark on nationwide strike to press home their demand for better condition of service” the release stated.

The release further made it known that, notice of intent to proceed on strike had been served on all relevant stakeholders since December 22, 2021.

Government approves 11 rates of allowances for UTAG

The release is always being used to serve notice to all Chief Directors, Heads of Department, Regional Coordinating Directors, Metropolitan, Municipal and District Coordinating Directors.
