COVID-19: Ghana’s Education Minister Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh Discharged from isolation center 

The Minister for Education, Hon. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has been discharged from the isolation center to reunite with his family.

In a press statement issued by the Press Secretary to the Minister Rodney Nkrumah-Boateng has announced that, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh who has self-isolated last month after testing positive of the novel Coronavirus has been discharged from the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) in Accra.

The statement also noted that, the Sector Minister has been discharged from the hospital with a positive rapid antibody test result and will be further monitored.


According to the report, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh has united with his family at home resting.

The Minister of Education hereby thanks all Ghanaians who wished him speedy recovery during his isolation.
