CPP Leadership begins grassroot mobilization across the country

The National Chair and Leader of the Party Nana Akosua Frimponmaa Sarpong Kumankuma has challenged members of the Party through a Dialogue in Ashanti region to stand up and engage the grassroot. This she says is the only way to rebuild the Party.

According to the party, the CPP is a National Party and the Peoples Party, hence, cannot live in our shadows while our country to retrogress. “Where are our courage when galamsey is being allowed to destroy our water bodies? Where are our able members to mobilize farmers into cooperatives again to revamp the agriculture industry? Where are the gallant Labour Leaders who fight for the dignity of their Ghanaian Worker and ensure work and happiness with sustainable livelihood? Where are our pragmatic drive and innovative ideas for local industry to stop importation from across the world while our local people are lacking jobs from working in our own factories.” The party asked.

They again said, Ghana is in this current sorry state because the CPP has been a pale shadow of itself.

“In our renewed leadership vigour, we entreat members at all levels to get together to oil the wheels of party organisation.” She said, “the best way to remember and honour Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah is to make our Party better for the People”.

The Ashanti Chairman of the Party Comrade Gallo commended the National Leadership for their continued effort in working towards the revival of Party. The meeting also included the National Organizer Comrade Yirimambo Ambing Moses and the National Youth Organizer Osei Kofi Acquah.
