CTVET releases 2023 CTVET May/June Certificate II examination and Access examination results
The Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET) has informed Principals of public and private Pre-Tertiary Technical and Vocational Education and Training Institutions, Vice Chancellors of Technical Universities, students, and the General Public that, the provisional results of the 2023 May/June Certificate II Examinations, Access Course, Technicians, Advanced and Diploma Examinations have been released.
The release was signed by Albert Opare Head of Corporate Affairs for Director General.
How to access results online
Candidates are kindly requested to access their results online via https:ctvet.gov.gh/results with their Index Numbers and Unique Reference Numbers.
However, Candidates for the Access Course Examinations should contact their respective Technical Universities for their results.
The Certificate II Examination comprises two parts, the Core Subjects and the Elective Components. The Core subject is made up of English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science, Social Studies, and Entrepreneurship. The Elective Component covers the Trade Area Programmes.
Exam statistics
A total of 32,402 Candidates consisting of 23,990 Males and 8,412 Females from 185 public and private Technical Institutes registered and sat for the examinations at the 120 examination centres across the country wrote the exam.
Withheld results & exams malpractices
The results of 36 Candidates have been withheld pending investigations due to their involvement in varied forms of examination malpractices and irregularities.
Conclusion
The Commission expressed its profound appreciation to stakeholders, especially the Ministry of Education, the TVET Service, Security Agencies, Principals of Technical Institutes, Inspectors, Invigilators, Examiners, all and sundry who in diverse ways supported the smooth conduct of the examinations as well as the release of the results.
