CTVET releases May/June results for candidates

The Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET) has released the May/June results for candidates.

All Heads of Pre-Tertiary Technical and Vocational Education and Training Institutions, Vice Chancellors of Technical Universities, including the General Public have been informed in the press release by the Commission.

The Commission said, they have released Certificate II Core and Elective, Access, Technician, Advanced, and Diploma Examination results therefore, all candidates are urged to visit the online portal and check.

How to check the results online 

To access the result, all candidates are requested to log in through https:http://ctvet.gov.gh/results and check their results.

Index numbers and Unique References are the needed details one can use to assess the results.

However, the Commission stated categorically that “Candidates for the Access program should contact their respective Institutions for their results.”

CTVET added that persons or candidates who need clarifications on any information relating to them should kindly contact the PR Unit of the Commission.

Breakdown of CTVET May/June Results 

Furthermore, the Commission gave a breakdown on the number of candidates who participated in the examination.

A total number of 29,616 Candidates from 175 Public and Private Technical Institutes wrote the examination at the 120 centres throughout the country.

This total number of candidates represents 21,835 males and 7,781 females giving a percentage of 73.7 males and 26.3 female respectively.

Subject Areas for CTVET examination

The certificate II Examination consists of two parts, the Core subjects and the Elective components.

The Core subject is made up of English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science Social Studies and Entrepreneurship. The Elective Component comprises the Trade Area Programmes.
