The Member of Parliament for Damongo Constituency Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor has offered an amount of ten thousand Ghana cedis (GH¢10,000) bounty on killers of Damongo Police woman Constable Sandra Asiedu.

According to the Lawmaker, anyone who will provide information leading to the arrest of killers of the stabbed Police within his Constituency will be rewarded GH¢10,000.

Police woman reportedly stabbed by boyfriend at Damongo

The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources made the announcement for any person, other than a law enforcement officer, who furnishes information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who killed Constable Sandra Asiedu at Damongo in the Savannah region.

He made the pledge through the Savannah Regional Minister, Hon. Muhazu Saeed when he led a team of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Constituency Executives to commiserate with the Police on 3rd August, 2021.

It was earlier alleged that, Constable Sandra Asiedu was stabbed by the boyfriend at Damongo in the Savannah Region. She was found dead at her residence at Damongo on 2nd August, 2021.

According to the Police statement, she was found in a pool of blood with wounds believed to be knife stabs.

The body has since been deposited at West Gonja District Hospital, pending investigation. Her boyfriend is highly suspected and the Police are on manhunt for him.
