December 2020 Polls: Mahama to unveil running mate to NDC’s NEC today

The Leader and flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), H.E John Dramani Mahama is set to make known his presidential running mate for the December 2020 polls.

Information available suggests that,  Mr. Mahama will today announce his choice of a Vice Presidential candidate to the National Executive Committee (NEC) in a meeting scheduled to take place today, Monday, 6th July, 2020 at exactly 10:00am at the party’s office in Accra. can report that, the former president John Dramani Mahama will present a list choices to the NDC’s National Executive Committee (NEC).


Our sources suggest that, the flagbearer out of the choices has selected the former Education Minister who is currently the chairperson of African Women Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman as his ruining mate for the December 2020 polls.

Other individuals whose have been shortlisted are Prof. Kwesi Botchwey, Dr. Kwabena Duffuor. As party’s structures demand, the presidential candidate of the NDC has to present his possible choices to the National Executive Committee to be accepted or rejected.

Meanwhile, the flagbearer has earlier met the founder of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) H.E Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings on the his choice for a running mate ahead of the NEC meeting today.

Though the leader is yet to officially announced his ruining mate, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyeman has high possibility of being John Dramani Mahama’s running mate for the 2020 general elections.
